Angela DeMure
DIRECTOR
Born and raised in MN, Angela has been dancing since just after high school, and it has become a lifelong passion.
She lived and taught overseas in Spain, and travels extensively for dance congresses, festivals, performances, teaching and training.
Angela believes that variety is the spice of life and her dance career has been a zig-zag from salsa and bachata, to Latin hustle, belly dance, Brazilian samba and zouk, and Afro-Caribbean styles.
Her dance passion is smooth body isolations and subtle yet sexy styling with a unique quirkiness that leaves people smiling!
Angela just moved her business to sunny South Florida - and she’s ready to get groovin’ again!

After 11 incredible years of joy, laughter, and dance, we CLOSED our MINNESOTA chapter, as of Sept 2023.
The reason behind this decision is that our wonderful director, Angela, has embarked on a new chapter in her life, moving out of state to South Florida.
We want to express our deepest gratitude to all of you who have been part of this extraordinary journey. Your enthusiasm and dedication have made every moment of the past 11 years unforgettable.
We know the spirit of DeMure Dance will continue to thrive in Minnesota!
Our beloved instructors, Shaleena and Bernard, will continue sharing their expertise at Minnesota’s Duende Dance Studio.
